Bed & Breakfast with a view
B&B Weids is centrally located in the Netherlands, about 30 km East of the city Utrecht. The house is close to the river Nederrijn. Because the house stands meters higher, is has a beautiful wide view over the floodplains and the river. The B&B has three bright, spacious suites with a bedroom, living room and private bathroom. You have your own entrance so you can come and go as you wish. You are very welcome. We hope you'll enjoy our place as much as we do.
To see and do
B&B Weids is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday enjoying the genuine Dutch countryside in all its variety: dykes, water, meadows, crops, forests and even hills (!). Castles, villages, former tobacco plantations and the Second world war monument show the long and turbulent history of this area. Due to the tranquility, good facilities and accessibility, it is also a suitable place for businessmen.
Sights
B&B Weids is located in Elst in the Utrecht province. With regard to hiking and biking there are a lot of routes and options.
How it all started
The house was builded in the fifties. For decennia a family with 13 children lived here. We fell in love with the panoramic view and the unique house and bought the vacant house in 2014. It took us several years to renovate and expand the house with a sunny conservatory extension. The three B&B suites were part of the renovation.
Breakfast
We like you to have a good start of the day. Breakfast is served in the rooms or already prepared and put in the fridge in the suite. Breakfast is composed of as many local, seasonal and home-made products as possible. Dietary requirements are taken into account. In summertime the breakfast can be served in the garden.
